About the Book

El Oro de la Viuda nos lleva en un viaje fascinante al interior de una mina abandonada ubicada en el corazón del bosque. Lugares ancestrales como este no son raros de encontrar en el Estado de Hidalgo, México, donde existen más de seis pueblos mágicos designados por la Secretaría de Turismo.

Esta emocionante aventura se desarrolla en torno a la familia Herrera, quienes, tras años de visitar la propiedad de su tío, deciden explorar un lugar al que nunca se habían aventurado antes: "la cueva", un lugar obscuro que emana misterio y ha sido prohibido para todos. Ignorando esta advertencia, la familia Herrera se ve envuelta en graves problemas, el tipo de problemas que muchos desearían si la riqueza se considerara más importante que la vida misma.

La historia nos obliga a reflexionar sobre la trascendente pregunta de cuál es la posesión más valiosa que puede tener un ser humano. La narrativa profundamente reflexiva de la novela y las ilustraciones del propio autor brindan una visión detallada de la historia, lo que la convierte en una lectura verdaderamente enganchante.
