About the Author: Emmy Award Winner and Best Selling Author, Joe Alaskey, whose Internet Movie Database page and resume reads like a Who's Who of Hollywood, has enjoyed an illustrious career as one of the most sought after voice-over artists in the TV and Film industry, as well as memorable performances as an actor for Film, TV, Radio and Stage. A theatrical veteran and comedy circuit regular, Joe Alaskey was plucked from the stage and comedy clubs in the 80s to star in the motion picture Lucky Stiff, directed by Anthony Perkins, and won a place in the hearts of millions as the lovable Uncle Beano on the science fiction situation comedy, Out of This World. A fixture on 80s television, he was the co-star of Couch Potatoes and guest starred on countless shows including Head of the Class, Night Court, Nurses, Hollywood Squares and The Match Game. Joe Alaskey took the animation world by storm voicing hundreds of animation projects for Television and Film, including The Looney Tunes, Steven Spielberg Presents Tiny Toon Adventures, Tom & Jerry, Duck Dodgers, Sponge Bob Squarepants, Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries, The Rugrats, All Grown Up, Looney Tunes Back In Action, The Garfield Show, Forest Gump and Casper, to name a few. Joe Alaskey has written stage plays, TV and radio scripts, as well as The Wild, Wild West Show for Six Flags Over Texas and 1958: A Retrospeculation, an ambitious and energetic one-man stage play he starred in at the Steve Allen Theatre.
